COMPACT UNCOILING – STRAIGHTENING UNIT Mod.: RM.C

This particularly compact unit consists of:
- AN UNCOILING REEL WITH SINGLE OR DOUBLE MANDREL
- A MOTORISED STRAIGHTENER
Both machines stand on one single arc-welded structural frame, complete with appropriate anchoring brackets to secure it to the ground.

UNCOILING REEL
This machine consists of a rugged arc-welded structural steel frame that stands directly on the connection base.
The ground steel mandrel shaft supports four self-centring expanding spokes, including eight adjustable and removable strip guides to hold the coil.
The mandrel (idle and with brake) expands hydraulically. Braking is performed by means of a pneumatic device; residual braking is adjustable and with brake releasing button.

MOTORISED STRAIGHTENER
It comprises upper and lower roller units and a raised base.
The upper roller unit contains a driving roller and straightening rollers that can be individually adjusted by a pair of angular transmissions and displayed with a position indicator. This roller unit can be completely opened during equipping, both for the introduction of the strip as well as for the cleaning of the rollers. The lower roller unit supports the lower rollers that are gearmotor controlled by means of a kinematic mechanism and oil bath gears. The loop is controlled by a multifunctional sensor fitted in the centre-line of the loop with appropriate supporting and protection blocks.
The feeding speed can be adjusted by means of an inverter.
The desk control panel is ergonomically connected to the body of the straightener and includes all machine controls.
